Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a holistic healthcare system that evolved in China over thousands of years.

It encompasses practices like acupuncture, herbal medicine, and dietary therapy. It revolves around the concept of Qi, the body's vital energy, and the balance of the forces of  Yin & Yang. Treatment aims to restore harmony by addressing imbalances in Qi and blood.  Acupuncture stimulates specific points on the body to regulate Qi, while herbal medicine and dietary therapy target imbalances through natural substances and food choices.

Electro-Acupuncture

Electro-acupuncture involves applying electrical stimulation to acupuncture needles. It enhances traditional acupuncture by providing controlled micro-current impulses, potentially increasing effectiveness in pain management and the healing process.  A mild buzzing or tapping sensation is felt at the site of the needle. It is painless and comfortable.

Cupping

Cupping involves placing cups on the skin to create suction, promote blood flow, and relieve muscle tension. It is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for pain relief, relaxation, and improving circulation.  After cupping, you may experience skin discolorations, typically ranging in color from red to purple. Discolorations result from suction-induced blood flow and usually fade within 2-10 days.
